Carlos Ghosn Said This AFTER NISSAN Had Me Jailed 3 Times on Trumped Up Charges.

Ghosn told reporters in November 2010 in Washington that the alliance would sell 500,000 EVs a year by the end of 2013. In a video posted in October by the company, the Renault-Nissan alliance now says it is "committed" to sell 1.5 million EVs "cumulatively" by 2016.

OMG!!! Obama's Administration is NOT Buying Leaf (s)  NISSAN is "left in the cold" in the NY Times article on EV purchases.....  Why?  Clarification - the article mentions NISSAN and the problems customers have with the battery.

."Using data obtained with a Freedom of Information Act request, Bloomberg reported that the administration’s green-car purchases fell for the third successive year, to 2,645 in the 2011 fiscal year from 8,139 in 2009 and 6,467 in 2010. I hear the cost is a lot more to make than what NISSAN sells it for. They took 1.4 Billion dollars saying they'd create 1300 jobs.  Now it's 300 jobs but those people are also making Altimas - The DC charging stations only work on NISSAN and Mitsubishi - for level 3.  Taxpayer money funded a lot of the in the NorthEast but there rarely used.   The Volt makes more sense.  Gas back up engine - less Beta Technology infrastructure
